Bloggo PH x Symply G: How I Take Care Of My Hair

Ever since I started modelling, keeping my long hair's glow and shine is a difficult thing to manage because of the multiple times that I need to put on hairsprays and ironing my hair or curling it for runways and photoshoots. I got so frustrated because my hair is losing its glow and bounce. I keep on cutting my hair because of split ends and it's just really not ideal to have a short hair when you need it to be styled up for an event.

I tried so many hair products from shampoo to conditioner and even thought of rebonding it for the sake of getting back its previous shine. But it's not really working the way I thought it would. I've gotten more stressed out every time I see my hair is getting dull and frizzy! I'm already stressed out with work and studies and I can't afford to have an additional stress on the line.

I even tried organic products on my hair like what others suggest such as white egg yolks and coconut oil. It went pretty well most especially since I used Symply G Keratin shampoo and hair conditioner!

I thought these brand was the same as other commercialized shampoos and conditioners but it's not! It's so beneficial to my hair that whenever I apply, it's so cool on my scalp and my hair gets so smooth and it smells so nice! I even received a compliment from my photographer friend about this!

I gave her some Symply G Keratin shampoo and conditioner  for her to try and to my relieve she loved it! She commented on how smooth her hair was and how it smells so nice!

Symply G's Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner are infused with Argan Oil, which provides the hair with maximum moisture, making it silky, soft and shiny. Symply G products are now available in Puregold branches and sari-sari stores near you!

How I wish we could have unlimited supply of Symply G for unlimited smooth and nice smelling fragrant hair!

Our hair is our crowning glory most especially to girls. So it is important that we should know how to take care of it. Our day might be bad due to work stress but don't let this stop you from having a good hair day!

Here are some tips that I could give you on how to take care of your hair despite how bad your day went and what are the do's and don'ts in keeping a healthy radiant looking hair.

Wash your hair every other day

Even experts suggest that washing your hair should only be up to a maximum of two to three times a week. When you shampoo daily it strips out the natural oil of our hair so it's not ideal to wash it everyday.

Use the right shampoo and conditioner

It is important that you should know and use the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. And according to an article I've read online that the volume of shampoo that you should apply to your hair depends on the volume of your hair as well, its thickness and length.

Scalp not end

Where to apply the shampoo also counts and plays a big role in maintaining a glowing, healthy hair. Apply shampoo on the scalp so that growing hair can take the nutrition and avoid applying and scrubbing it all over the ends. You don't want to have more split ends more than it already has!

Massage Scalp

Massage your scalp while shampooing and washing to allow the blood to circulate and so that it could help detoxify the hair.

Don't use hot water

Avoid using hot water when washing your hair because it can create tangles that could result to hair breakage and it will dry out your hair.

Always condition your hair

Conditioning your hair might be an additional expense to your budget. But hey, maintaining a good looking, radiant and smooth hair doesn't come cheap. You want to keep it healthy and so proper maintenance and investing in good quality conditioner is the way to do it. For those with thick volume and longer hair, it needs deep conditioning to add moisture and protein.

Towel dry before applying conditioner

The conditioner won't be able to penetrate the hair and deliver moisture to keep it healthy and shiny when there is excess water on it, so you should towel dry your hair first after shampooing and before applying conditioner.

Concentrate on the ends

Avoid applying conditioner on the roots of your hair, concentrate on the ends. According to the stylist Kerri Urban, our scalp can get greasy faster.

Avoid the sun

While it is fun going out in the sun and doing our outdoor activities, it's so not fun when our hair gets dehydrated from too much heat of the sun.

Brush your hair twice a day from the bottom up

Imagine going out without brushing your hair? Don't go out looking like a haystack! While it is nice to groom and look neat and tidy avoid brushing your hair at all times for it can also cause hair breakage.
